Growing up,in North Georgia meant field trips to Dahlonega, GA - home of the first Gold Rush. We would take buses up to the North Georgia mountains and try our hand at panning for gold. I think I may even still have little tubes of gold flakes that I so proudly collected.
Fast forward several years and the waterfalls of Dahlonega, GA painted the background as Pete asked me to be his wife.
Dahlonega has been a key place in my life for years - camp, friends, fun, and hiking - an all around great place to spend time growing up.
This weekend, Pete and I went to Dahlonega and had the privilege of sharing the mission of MAF with some great people at Dahlonega UMC. We had a great time and enjoyed being with Pete's family, meeting some amazing new people, and reconnecting with longtime family friends. All-in-all, it was a great weekend and God really showed up and prepared our way.
We are grateful for the people at Dahlonega UMC for having us!

Oh the Glory of it All
Oh the Glory of it all is:
he came here
for the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
oh he is here
for redemption from the fall
that we may live
for the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all
the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all
he came here
for the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
oh he is here
for redemption from the fall
that we may live
for the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all
the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all
As I was taking my morning power walk yesterday, this Crowder song came on. What a refreshing reminder of His sacrifice, love, and truth! Without Him we are lost. Without Him we are fallen. Without Him, we can have no relationship with the Father.
But With HIM, we are rescued. With Him we are alive. With Him, HE is GLORIFIED!
My heart cannot wait to share this good news in Indonesia!
