Sundays are bath days. No matter what other day(s) Cade gets a bath throughout the week, Sunday is bath day. For this reason, and so many others - corporate worship, Sunday naps, and more family time - I love Sundays!
Tonight Cade learned he could splash. Oh, what a joy! It is amazing how the sweetest little moments, like splashing, giggling, rolling over, and pulling our fingers into his mouth, make this thing called parenthood simply wonderful.
Parenthood has brought more joy to our lives than we could ever have imagined. Parenthood has revealed more of God's heart for His created. Parenthood is an incredible tool that God uses to allow us a glimpse of Himself. Ahh, parenthood is good.
As we eagerly await Tuesday's meeting, I am reminded of the simple joys in life. Joys that can and will occur no matter where the Lord sends us. Joys that give us a glimpse into His kingdom.
Enjoy the sweet little moments of life and live with simple intentionality. This is my goal for this week, for this life.
